Please follow this list of medications and supplements to avoid prior to having your procedure.
SKIN CANCER REMOVAL:
Much like any form of cancer, skin cancer, may require a surgical procedure to remove the cancerous growth. Receiving a diagnosis is very difficult to accept, along with understanding your cancer may result in scars or disfigurement. Dr. Holland understands these concerns and will guide you through treatment and explain to you the resulting effect on your health and appearance. She will also make every effort to treat your skin cancer with minimal changes to your appearance.
MOLE/LESION REMOVAL:
Moles, or nevi, are clusters of pigmented cells that appear as spots on the skin. They can vary greatly in size and color and typically appear on the face, arms, legs and torso. For skin moles that are harmless (benign), patients may opt to have them treated for cosmetic reasons. The removal process is tailored to ensure minimal scarring and a favorable aesthetic result.
post-treatment care
Following the removal procedure, Dr. Holland provides detailed post-operative care instructions to facilitate a smooth recovery. Patients are guided on wound care, potential side effects, and the importance of follow-up appointments for monitoring healing and addressing any concerns that may arise.
